On Tuesday, October 4th, 2022, at 9 pm in the Den, Ballinamore we will be holding an information evening about our upcoming Capacity Buiding Programme.

Workshops will concentrate on developing skills and knowledge in areas important to developing your voluntary or community group.

Capacity Building and Social Enterprise Training

We are looking at present for Community and Voluntary Groups, who are interested in personal development training to assist in their roles within their organisation. This training will be free and will be provided as part of our Better Together – Níos Fearr Le Chéile Peace Impact Project – Capacity Building and Social Enterprise Training Programme. The Programme will be funded by The International Fund for Ireland. We are particularly interested in hearing from and engaging with groups that share a common interest in peacebuilding and community development throughout the border counties, north and south. We are keen to establish long-lasting, sustainable relationships and partnerships with these groups and projects. With a focus on co-operation and collaboration for the betterment of people living in these areas.

The Ballinamore Area Community Council CLG and local agencies, the Leitrim PPN, Leitrim County Council, and the Leitrim Development Company compiled a directory of community and voluntary initiatives that are available in the local area.
