Capacity Buiding
Capacity Building Programme will seek to further relationships built up during our first Peace Impact Project. The committee has evolved and continues to develop incorporating a strategic plan as part of the groups development strategy.
Community Services Hub
A space for the Community of Ballinamore to come together every second Tuesday. Providing information & signposting, refreshments, a space to talk and socialise, a repair cafe and swap shop.
Exploring the Past & Looking to the Future
Ballinamore continues to be impacted by the legacy of the past and the conflict. We need to go back and examine the root causes of conflict, for positive learning of mistakes in order to build a better future.
Cross Border/ Cross Community Schools Project
A key objective of this project is to promote peace and avoid conflict within the community. By reducing the likelihood of youth participation in dissident activity, we seek to enhance the character and productivity of our young people, adding to the growth and sustainability of both Leitrim and Fermanagh.
Literature- A Bridge Across Difference
Bringing together all of the groups both north and south who have already participated in the previous Peace Impact Project, the programme will also be open to the general reading public.
Ballinamore Area Community Council Clg
Ballinamore Area Community Council Clg’s main aim is job creation and the creation of leisure facilities for those who live locally, making area a better place to work, live and play in.
